The Story of Erina

Erina, born in the northern city of Sapporo in August 1987, is a Japanese artist whose unique eye for cats has been captivating the hearts of animal lovers.
Erina's cats are always warm, talkative, vivid, somewhat 'alive' and guaranteed to make anybody smile.

It was after Erina had finished her education at a school for children with special needs, aged 18, she started painting her beloved cats, Koro and Minikoro.

Erina has received recognition from organisations such as The Maneki Neko (lucky cats) Museum which hosts a Maneki Neko image competition every year in Okayama city.

She now lives with two cats, Chibikoro and Minikoro in her late mother's home town in Hokkaido.

Being with cats, playing with cats and drawing cats have saved and totally changed Erina's life.

We are a proud supporter of Shropshire Cat Rescue in Shrewsbury.
